Webhooks are the fastest, most reliable, and most future-proof way to get data from Impact Stack into your CRM. Once it’s all set up, data flows almost instantly from Impact Stack into your CRM without any manual work.
Let support or your client manager know if you would like to start using webhooks.
With webhooks, every time someone makes a submission on your Impact Stack forms, Impact Stack sends out a packet of data about that submission. This packet of data goes to another service which processes or transforms the data and then sends it somewhere else – usually to your CRM.
Organisations using Impact Stack have used web services such as these to process the data and send it to their CRM: Azure functions, Azure APIM, Talend, n8n.io, Salesforce through force.com, and Datadialog. You could use Pipedream.com or even Zapier though Zapier seems quite expensive. You're not restricted to those. You could use any server or endpoint that can accept HTTP POST requests. People have used tools like webhook.site during the testing phase. You can also use a sandbox environment within your CRM for the testing phase.
Impact Stack doesn’t charge extra to use webhooks. There are likely to be some costs to set up and run the service between Impact Stack and your CRM. Many organisations using Impact Stack’s webhooks hire an external developer to create and run that.
We can put you in touch with developers who have helped organisations link Impact Stack via webhooks with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and CiviCRM. We are looking for developers who will help integrate other CRMs.
