Configure donation payment methods

Selecting payment methods on your donation form

All your available payment options will show up in the 'Payment Method Selector' of the donation form builder. This field is available by default in the list of fields that can be added to your donation form. When editing this field, select the 'Options' tab and individually enable or disable each payment method that is configured.

For example (options depend on what has been set up in your account):

Setting up payment methods for your account

This is a description of how to set up new payment methods from scratch. The Support team would be very happy to do this for you.

The settings to update your payment methods are available under Manage --> Advanced Settings --> Site settings --> Payment (Search the page if you don't see it in the long list!).

There, you can edit the "Payment method" and click on the "Add payment method" button on the top of the page. Then simply choose the provider you would like to enable.

Impact Stack supports Paypal, Payone, Stripe, Stripe SEPA, Braintree, SagePay, GoCardLess and Manual Direct Debit (for UK or for the SEPA zone). If the provider you want to use isn't listed, get in touch with support

For each payment method, you can add a specific title (the one you'll see in the admin interface) and a generic one (which your supporters and donors will see).

Then, you will have to enter your API keys, i.e. the keys for Impact Stack to identify your Paypal, Stripe,... account. If you're not sure if you've got this right, contact the corresponding payment provider and ask for the correct API key. For Stripe, you'll also need to match the keys in the "Personal data mapping" table with the form keys of your actions. For some payment methods, other steps must be done outside Impact Stack, for example whitelisting the Impact Stack server. So make sure you follow the instructions given by each individual payment provider as well as setting up the Impact Stack configuration!
