Which fields get synchronised with your email marketing integrations?

If an integration with your email marketing tool is set up, supporter data will automatically be synchronised, including tags. This way you can send out segmented emails based on segments coming from Impact Stack.

Integrations with Mailchimp and DotDigital are available to all Impact Stack users. Get in touch to let us know this needs to be done if it's not already set up. And if you use another email tool, just get in touch to ask about setting up an integration.

Custom fields

It is also possible to add custom fields. Your merge tag needs to have exactly the same name as the form_key of the Impact Stack custom field. It will then automatically be synced as well.

Warning: All required fields in your supporter Mailchimp list(s) must also be defined in the Impact Stack part of the Impact Stack-Mailchimp integration. Otherwise, the Mailchimp list(s) with the required fields won't accept the supporter data sent by Impact Stack, which means that new subscriptions won't arrive in Mailchimp and the data of previously subscribed supporters won't update.
